Title: Fianl Week of the season
Post by: Oldandslow on Apr 05, 2025, 06:45 AM
Someone had better start the ball rolling so:

Brad Salem v Scarborough – Scarborough to win and secure a well deserved runners up spot.

Donny P v Old Brods – Just think Phoenix have more to play for and will sneak a win.

Moortown v Goole – Goole to sign off with a win against the leagues under achievers.

Morley v Old Crocs – Should be a regulation Morley win.

Ponte v Wetherby – Wetherby to sign of their first season in the league in style with a comfortable away win.

M&N v Rochdale – Rochdale leave the league a champions with a low scoring win. Good luck and best wishes to Rochdale in which ever table they are in next season.

Brad Salem v Scarborough – Salem seem to have dropped off a bit as the second half of the season came by. Hoping for a strong finish to the season for Scarborough, if we do finish 2nd it will prove to have been an excellent season. Not quite enough strength in depth to genuinely push for promotion. Being stuck out on the East Coast is always going to be a challenge.

Donny P v Old Brods – Donny will come out fighting, I suspect a big home win.

Moortown v Goole – the sun will be shining and Moortown will have a party atmosphere. Their season has been rubbish and they'll want to finish on a high. Another big home win.

Morley v Old Crocs – cant see anything other than Morley crusing to a big win.

Ponte v Wetherby – Hard one to call this, Ponte are good at home and Wetherby peaked with their excellent win at Silver Royd. If Ponte have a full strength side it will be a home win, if not, Wetherby should sneak it.

M&N v Rochdale – Rochdale should have enough left in the tank to win at Malton. However, a sunny day might bring the best out of Malton.

Brad Salem v Scarborough – on recent form expert Scrarborough to take the points and 2nd spot

Donny P v Old Brods – Phoenix at home to get the win and leap frog crocs into 10th place.

Moortown v Goole – backing Goole to finish the season with a win.

Morley v Old Crocs – Old crocs will be desperate to avoid the drop to 11th and whilst Morley are chasing 2nd spot could see crocs pulling of a shock here and get the win.

Ponte v Wetherby – Looking forward to our visit to Ponte with 1s and 2s should be a great day. Backing our lads to get the win and crossing my fingers that Moreley and BS can do us a favour and leave the 2nd place spot open for us.

M&N v Rochdale – A celebration match for the champions, who may start celerbrating too early in the day and leave the way open for M&N to put some iceing on their season. Going for a surprise win for M&N to add to their motivation for a push for the top 4 next season.

Brad Salem v Scarborough – Nothing is certain at the best of times but particularly so on the last Saturday of the season. Tough place to go and expect Salem will want to end a poor run of form. Salem win just.

Donny P v Old Brods –  I think Brods will have too much in the backs if they get sufficient ball.

Moortown v Goole – Home win in high scoring game.

Morley v Old Crocs – Morley have had a strong finish to the season, despite the scrum struggling. Looks like a much changed backline, so Crocs, if they are up for it, may have a very good chance of ending on a win.

Ponte v Wetherby –  Battle of the packs. Ponte to sneak it.

M&N v Rochdale – Away win.
