[Locked Out]

A second bad day at the office for Ripon on the trot - soundly beaten by a Yarno side with pace and agility. Ripon competed in a fair few areas and with the half time score of 17 - 6, the game didn't look too far out of reach. Ripon injuries didn't help continuity and with an impact Centre removed early on with a ruptured ACL and two head wounds, it just wasn't going to be Ripon's day. The second half was a six try to one rout and a lesson for Ripon to defend more cohesively and finish more effectively.

Fair play to the Planespotters for hospitality - thanks Dave for the free burger pre-match and the cheese and wine in the management dressing room afterwards was a blast from the past and most welcome. Great to make the acquaintance of the "Doc" and he'll be a sad loss to this chat when he and the club move on. Though separated by three divisions, I think the Flaggy-baiting will continue! ;0

Best wishes to the "mighty yawn" in the YS final - tough call to make as to who'll come out on top and best wishes for a season in Y1 if the powers that be make it happen.
