Nearly a quarter of the way through the season and every team has won and lost at least once (Skipton got a walkover as their only win but a win is a win).

The table is currently:

Dearne valley got their first win of the season last Saturday which should give them some confidence, being a tough start for the 2 newly promoted teams, Skipton not had a great start.
 Has any team being a surprise good or bad in the first 5 games ?
I always thought Wheatley Hills would be up there, still early but I'm still thinking they'll be top when the end of April comes around.
 Is the Standard better or worse than previous seasons !?

Any opposing player(s) impressed you so far ?

A few teams have cup games to keep busy with whilst a few will have to wait till the next round of league games which are on the 8th November. It will soon be here 🏉🏉

Haven't seen everyone play yet, but don't think Corinthians putting 70+ past two teams happens by accident. A good outfit so long as their RL contingent remain interested.

Probably still a bit early to adjudicate the standard of the league, but as I mentioned previously it seems anyone can beat anyone. Wheatley Hills have only lost to Thorne, who were well beaten by WPL at the weekend... who conceded 50 to WH on the opening weeked. Make sense of it if you can!

Plenty of horses still in the race, with plenty of rugby to go.

Corinthians will be up there for sure. They'll be kicking themselves for not getting a win at castleford.

As you say it's still early and anything can still happen.
