Week 12 (Revisited) Predictions (21/02/26)

I tried posting on several occasions last night however  continuous error kept displaying

These were my predictions

Baildon v Vandals- baildon -7
Bees v Northallerton- Bees +7
Bramley Phoenix v Otlensians - 00's +7
HLH v Ossett- hlh +7
Roundheigns v Ripon Roundheigns +7

[Locked Out]

Ripon were kicking themselves yesterday after a strong start and a modest half time lead, then fell foul of a livelier Hegians side in the final quarter. Honours were pretty even all game and Ripon's reconstructed backline with four players out of position, competed well to shut down the home back three early on.

Injuries and indiscipline, including a yellow card let Ripon down in the second half and the Hegians pace out wide showed eventually. The score line perhaps flattered the hosts somewhat as both sides were keen to play everything from anywhere and when the score levelled at 17 - 17 at the end of the third quarter, it still looked like it could go any way. Fair play to Hegians for more clinical finishing in the end. Ripon will take some comfort from the try bonus point to keep ambitions alive for a top half finish.
