Keighley vs Beverly - Beverley will be desperately looking for a result to close the gape between them and Hull. Although playing on home turf will help beavers, Keighley have a big enough pack and shown enough class to get a result away from the carpet. Keighley +7

Dinnington vs Hull - Hull have given very little especially since Christmas and i think this will be one way traffic for 80 minutes. Dinnington +70

Goole vs Harrogate - Very little to separate the pair and really depends on how they show up on the day. Going with home advantage here but certainly could go either way. Goole -7

Wensleydale vs Old Rish - There is a vibe in the air at Copley by the sounds of things and the young bucks at Rish will have there tails up. Another hotly contested match that could go either way. However, i think the young Rish side could have to much for the farmers especially utilizing there scrum as a weapon as they have in recent weeks. Rish -7

West Leeds vs Leos - Leos are done and preparing for Yorkshire 2. West Leeds +7

Yarnbury vs Wath - Definitely the game of the round for me. Wath are a well oiled machine but physicality does not particularly win games on the astro. Yarnbury being one of the smaller teams in the competition will definitely come in to play here and Yarnbury will be desperate to keep the ball well outside the ruck. Predict a high scoring game of conflicting styles of rugby, especially after the reality check Yarnbury got last week. Wath -7

Locked Out

Beverley v Keighley: Despite murmurings of relative benefits of merging with a lack lustre national divisional club, Beavers to add another defeat to their journey to the depths of Y2. Keefleh +7

Dinnington v Hullensians: Can the mighty Dinno break loose from the neck and neck battle with Wath for supremacy? probably here and now. Dinno +7

Goole v Harrogate Pythons: Nothing against 'Gate honestly but just see a home advantage thing working out here. Goonies -7

Wensleydale v Old Rishworthian: A very tough one to call and with clement weather forecast, the mountainside may not be an advantage. Instinct suggests 'Dale -7

West Leeds v Leodiensian: No brainer here, with Leos all but folding. WL +7

Yarnbury v Wath Upon Dearne: Match of the day for me. If the planespotters can stick to task and avoid the turbulence, Woff could be in for a bumpy flight. Yawno -7

The Glove Mans Round Recap

Beverley 12 vs Keighley 36 - Bit disappointing from the beavers here. I thought they would have put up a bit more fight than the scoreline suggests. But then again they have been average all year so not shocked. Less wood more rugby I suggest, if they want to make it out of the danger zone.

Dinnington 68 vs Hull 8 - I said +70 as a joke but Hull really are pants. I bet Dinno are annoyed they even got 1 try passed them. Hull have fallen off harder than the English national team in recent months. They could be in some serious risk of the dreaded relegation.

Goole 38 vs Harrogate 26 - Meh nothing exciting. Scoreline is about as suspected, sounds a decent match up.

Wensleydale 34 vs Old Rish 34 - This sounded a cracking match and a friend from Dale told me it was equalised with the last play of the game. Rish will be over the moon with 3 points after looking back at past results with Dinno and Wath being the only 2 to travel to the land of the sheep and come away with more than 2 points. Rish have now strung a few good games together and seemingly a top half finish really is looking more possible.

West Leeds 66 vs Leodiensian 18 - Leos are Shit.

Yarnbury 24 vs Wath 40 - Looked a tight game with half time score being 12-14 to Wath and seems Wath just out classed the aviation merchants in the second 40.

Yours in Rugby,
The Glove Man
