It wasn't a literal mathematical statement....just a strong opinion on what I watched. 🫠🫠

My thoughts after yesterdays results:

$alem v Selby
The sea eagles are good at home, but this result did surprise me. Selby really haven't got going this season and seem to be one step forward, one step back. Both these sides will already be thinking about next season.

Donny v Wetherby
Another heavy defeat for Phoenix and a crucial 5 points in the relegation battle for Weth. All eyes on Weth v Ponte next week which should be huge. Does anyone know if Phoenix are still linked with Knights, interested to know how this rapid fall from grace has happened.

Malton v Pock
Somewhat of a derby which the classy Pock side have come out on top. M&N have had a strong second half of the season and will look to build on that next year. Not seen anything of the R2N or R1NE leagues, but Pock will fancy themselves for promotion.

Moortown v Crocs
A much needed bounce back win for Town and more disappointment for Crocs. With Selby's result, this puts Town back in the driving seat, however I still think Selby will pinch the final play off spot. Crocs confirmed in the relegation play off and I suspect they would rather play wetherby than the rejuvenated Ponte side.

Brods v Morley
Another good result for Brods, which looks to have secured 3rd for them. These two should meet again in the play offs which should be a belter. Brods look to be hitting form at the right time.

Ponte v Scabs
No promotion hangover for Scabs and they've dug out a good result here. Ponte is a tough place to go, especially when fighting for survival. Suspect Scabs will finish off their season next week with a home victory against Salem and the celebrations continue. Wonder if their social media will be as active next season when they aren't winning every week.

Wath and/or dinnington to look forward to next season, based on recent promotions from Y1, I think they will be a handful for anyone.

100% it will. We can afford to spin it any way we want!

It will be very tough to stay up but we will give it a good shot.
