Promotion & Relegation
⁃ The 1st placed team in each league is promoted to Regional 1.
⁃ Those placed 2nd-5th qualify for the Promotion Play-Offs (see next page).
⁃ Teams placed 12th are relegated to Counties 1 Leagues.
⁃ Teams placed 10th and 11th qualify for the Regional 2 Survival Play-Offs.
⁃ Losers of Regional 1 Survival Play-Offs participate in Regional 2 Promotion Play-offs.
⁃ Ramifications for season 2026/2027
⁃ The twelve League Champions are promoted to Regional 1.
⁃ The winners of the Regional 2 Promotion Play-Offs will play in Regional 1.
⁃ Champions of Counties 1 Leagues are promoted to Regional 2.
⁃ Teams finishing 12th are relegated to Counties 1 Leagues.
⁃ Losers of the Survival Play-Off are relegated to the Counties 1 Leagues.

I may be wrong but i'm pretty sure there was no mention in the original proposal for a 10th/11th place play off.
Burwell making it up as he goes along to implement another daft change that few want.

Doesn't look like it to me. Nothing in the season structure for Counties 1 and below about playoffs and also talks about the usual best place runners up spots that there usually is.

I agree MR Stella
                 total disregard for the clubs who didnt want a playoff system that was the majority of on the Zoom meeting that I attended. Mr Burwell needs bringing to heel but seems to be able to whatever he wants with the full backing of the council who appear to be similarly myopic. Too many snouts in the trough and not enough "Grassroots" people with a voice that could make a difference. I really dont know how we get a collective voice instead of the usual "Nodding Dogs" to represent us. Suggestions Please!!!!!

We would prefer 14 team leagues - however we'd also prefer the playoffs to the fiasco of the last couple of years with the Papa John's.
