Never argue with an idiot, he'll bring you down to his level and beat you with experience!

No real surprises today. Very good away wins for Brods and Wetherby.

Malton and Pock proving they will both be tough to beat at home.

Moortown could use their emphatic victory to kick start their season. It doesn't look good for Donny.

Crocs seem unlucky to score 27 points against top of the table and come away with nothing. They have been competitive in all 5 of their losses but they are not getting any reward.

The league is starting to take shape with Scarborough amassing an impressive 25/25 points.

Morley vs Wetherby - Great game, Wetherby took a scratched side with some last minute drop outs.. named a player with a torn ACL on the bench, technically had 17 players.

A real spirited performance! Morley are a good solid team and scored some great try's. Morley were leading at half time, seemed like their tails were up. But Wetherby, by god do they have some fight in them. You'll have to play well to beat them because they really dig in when it's against them.

The game was a credit to the league! Fast paced, physical and high quality. Well done to both teams!

The Pock v Selby game seems like it needs some comment from someone who was there. That seems surprisingly close given both teams form so far.

Likewise Bradford came close to getting a result against Old Brods, albeit it home.

Loving all rugby but especially at grassroots level.

Had the pleasure of watching the Bradford Salem vs Brods game and catching up with an old teammate from years gone by.

A real tough contest from both sides.

Salem showed some real promise throughout the game and was particularly impressed with Salem's 8. However it's apparent that Salem need to teach their RL imports the laws around the tackle height.

Brods were particularly strong in defence but disappointed with their 'red zone' attack (think someone mentioned that this week) fortunately their 10 had his kicking boots on and took his opportunities late on to seal the win.

Overall Salem will most likely feel hard done by, Brods will be happy to get the win and move onto the next.

How do you feel as a young outside back at Salem watching them bring in a 43 year old 'name' ahead of you?

Selby started the game on fire, scoring two excellent early tries and we were lucky not to be 3 scores down after 20 minutes, Pock struggled to get going but we managed to keep in touch with the score at half time 17-10 to Selby.

Momentum shifted after the break and Pock managed to take advantage of a yellow card for the visitors and looked to be pulling away, all credit to Selby though as they dug in and scored to get within a point with the game nearing the end. Very nervy last 5 mins for the home fans with the away side looking more likely to win it.

Brilliant game of end to end rugby, played in the right spirit and cheered on by a good crowd. Special mention for the Selby 9 who was deservedly named MOM after a great performance.
