Big weekend ahead at the top of the table with 2 of the top 5 going head to ahead. Predictions?

Blaydon VS York

Cleckheaton VS Ilkley

Harrogate VS Heath

Middlesbrough VS Sandal

Penrith VS Kendal

Alnwick VS Driffield

Differ Lid

Blaydon vs York
York have had some of the big guns back in team sheets recently and with 3 wins in the last 5 games they are certainly looking up. This would be a massive win for them with the fixtures remaining for York. A battling display, but not enough.
Blaydon Win

Cleckheaton vs Ilkley
Can only see one winner here, and an opportunity for Ilkley to jump to 3rd place.
Ilkley Win

Harrogate vs Heath
Heath now have a run of games facing 2nd to 5th on the bounce with 3 out of 4 games away from home. If they come through it's a general stroll to the title. Harrogate will be well up for this one but can't see Heath slipping up.
Heath Win

Middlesbrough vs Sandal
The result of this game could have a massive say in the relegation and relegation playoff places. A Middlesbrough win and it's all to play for in the bottom 5. Sandal win and they have a nice buffer. Flip of a coin.
Middlesbrough Win

Penrith vs Kendal
Derby Day. Penriths form has been awful following a solid start to the campaign, Kendal appear to of been in the fight for most games. But home advantage in a derby can play a massive part.
Penrith to get the first win since October

Alnwick vs Driffield
Well Alnwick are flying, and are always strong at home. But the Woldsmen had the beating of them earlier in the season, and have to back them to do the same again.
Alnwick Win

Rugby Badger

Blaydon v York
Blaydon usually good on home pitch and York's form has improved recently, going for a close home win.

Cleckheaton v Ilkley
Cleck now looking a bit stronger with the returns of Breakwell, Brambani & Hainsworth but still feel Ilkley will have too much for them here, Ilkley win.

Harrogate v Heath
Game of the day this. Harrogate quite strong at home and Heath unbeaten all season. Going for a Heath win to all but seal the league.

Middlesbrough v Sandal
Middlesbrough seem to have been struggling a bit recently and Sandal have been in the up so going for a Sandal win.

Penrith v Kendal
Nice Cumbrian Derby. Penrith been struggling but will be up for this one but so will Kendal - Close away win.

Alnwick v Driffield
Alnwick flying at the minute and are notoriously strong at home. Driffield have had a good season so far but this fixture will be too much for them I feel - Alnwick win.

The Sideline Savant

Blaydon v York
York look a much stronger side to what they have been! Blaydon tough to beat at home. Close game! Blaydon, just.

Cleckheaton v Ilkley
Cleck have a few players returning to give them some much needed firepower. Interested to see how Hainsworth goes after a long spell out. Ilkley have lost a few key players. Controversial Cleck win.

Harrogate v Heath
Huge game! A tight game in the reverse fixture, Chris Johnson the difference! Can Harrogate put the cat amongst the pigeons and put a seed of doubt in Heaths minds? Close game. Feeling a Harrogate win.

Middlesbrough v Sandal
Big game down near the bottom. Sandal to win in a close one.

Penrith v Kendal
Penrith have improved slightly from a couple of hidings. Kendal a tough team to beat! Kendal win.

Alnwick v Driffield
Interesting game. Alnwick flying, but are they due to fall off as they normally do? Driffield are a good side and always battle to the end. Close game. Alnwick win.

A good selection of games this weekend, with a few close games! As always, lets hope for some entertainment!!

Kellythorpe

Blaydon v York. This is a good chance for York, as they are improving.
Cleckheaton v Ilkley. Ilkley for me, in spite of Cleck's reinforcements.
Harrogate v Heath. What will the pitch be like after so much rain and maybe frost? If it's ok, I take Heath to just edge it.
Middlesbrough v Sandal. Difficult choice! Let's chicken out with a draw!
Penrith v Kendal. Kendal seem the more reliable. Away win.
Alnwick v Driffield. Long trip in this weather. Let's hope Driff travel well with their second team on the coach as well. Fingers crossed nervously.
