Getting to the business end of the season now, no game for Hornsea this week but the games this week  are ;

Burley vs Barnsley - it was a draw back before Christmas. Burley have struggled since coming back after new year so going for a narrow away win. Barnsley -7

Hemsworth vs WPL - with their defeat last week away at Skipton i think WPL have blown their chances for promotion. It's going to be a close one with the home team just taking it. Hemsworth -7

Corinthians vs Phoenix - GOTW.  can't see past Corinthians at home but it will be reasonably tight. Corinthians -7

Skipton vs Thorne - good win for Thorne last week but it's a long away trip this week, Skipton should have an enough at home. Skipton +7

Hills vs Castleford - will Cas even turn up this week ? Hills will get 5 points from playing or not. Hills +7 (HWO)

Burls v Barns: Just got a hunch that Barno could make it if they travel well Barns -7

Hems v WPL: Smart money on WPL to keep pressing for that second promotion place with a five pointer away. WPL +7

LC v RP: Clash of the easy abbreviations. Nothing against Corinthians honest, but would like to see RP succeed here and end up no points for LC. RP +7

Skips v Thorns: Bog trotters down but not out, though can't see them travelling well, if at all... Skips +7 or HWO

Hills v Ca$h: Ca$h probably thinking they're home and dry from the relegation zone and despite losing here, probably not in danger of going down. WH +7

No real surprises, burley getting their first win of 2026 pulling them away from the bottom. WPL not giving up on their promotion challenge just yet but with Corinthians getting a good win at home it's still looking like a Hills Corinthians promotion. Hills are in touching distance of Y2 now. Thorne and Cas stay bottom after big defeats.

Only 3 rearranged games next week all involving the bottom 3 clubs.
