Doncaster Phoenix vs Wetherby - Wetherby desperate for 5 points so will take the spoils here.

Moortown vs Old Crossleyans - Unsure on this one. Moortown are still in the hunt for 5th yet Crossleyans are fighting for their life. I think Moortown will put on a show and win this by 18 points, leaving Crossleyans guaranteed in a relegation play off if Pontefract get the points at home.

Pontefract vs Scarborough - I will be interested to see how arsed the Scarborough players are and if they put a few 2nd teamers in for the long journey over to Pontefract. Old Crossleyans will be hoping they send their B team and there is a bit of a promotion hangover. What is the reckoning BRB? Will you be going full strength for 5 points? The fate of Old Crossleyans could be in your hands....

Old Brodleians vs Morley - Another huge fixture which might decide who gets a home tie in the play offs (although the clubs are fairly close I believe?). Old Brodleians are usually formidable at home but the Morley Money could prove successful here. I wonder if their Brown Envelopes are increasing in line with the inflation? Old Brodleians by 3.

Bradford Salem vs Selby - Interesting game this one, Selby aren't travelling well yet have beaten Pocklington, Old Brodleians, Scarborough and Drawn with Morley this year. I guess it depends who turns up, if they are half arsed then I fancy a Salem win here. Salem by 10 - but Selby on their day win by 30, just don't think they'll turn up.

Malton and Norton vs Pocklington - Malton are 5 points away from a final day play off charge should results go their way. I think they could have the measure of Pocklington here, and with 2nd all but guaranteed I think Malton will get the win. Two similar clubs as well and I'm sure bragging rights for Malton will mean a lot having beaten Pocklington earlier in the season. Malton by 2.

Donny P v Wetherby – After doing the right thing and travelling to Scarborough last week Phoenix will want to win in their last home game of the season to give themselves something to build on for next season.  Wetherby will be desperate for a win as they try to avoid the relegation playoff. I'm expecting a very close game and with no confidence going for a Phoenix win.

Moortown v Old Crocs – Moortown have lost their last two games and conceded plenty of points so I'm taking Old Crocs to get a bonus point win.

Old Brods v Morley – Both teams looking for a first round home playoff game, Old Brods keep grinding out wins at home, Brods to win but not by many.

Pontefract v Scarborough – Pontefract are difficult to beat at home and Scarborough have secured promotion and have nothing but pride to play for so Pontefract to win but no bonus points.

Brad Salem v Selby – Selby bonus point win and all but secure a playoff place.

M&N v Pocklington – M&N league position is now safe so I expect a regulation Pocklington win.

Doncaster Phoenix vs Wetherby - Good show of sportsmanship from Donny last week. Sadly no points for that and will get another pasting this weekend.

Moortown vs Old Crossleyans - Crocs will end up on the right side of this score. +5

Pontefract vs Scarborough - Not too sure what Flank is on about here as surely Scabs 1st XV is better than their B team. Mentality warriors will want to push on if they are to do well in NE1 and should win this comfortably despite Ponte's late push.

Old Brodleians vs Morley - I don't think either particularly want promoting this season. Morely have more wonga so ill go with them. Morely +4

Bradford Salem vs Selby - Won't even try and predict this one both teams are hot & cold. Last time I said Salem would thump them and got it totally wrong - so I'll go Salem 47-5.

Malton and Norton vs Pocklington - Pock and quite comfortably. Should be a decent day with good crowds this. Will be interesting to see if Pock actually stay past the final whistle when they are a bit closer to home.

PocknRoll

DP v Wetherby - Wetherby to get an important win.

Moortown v Crocs - Home win to keep town in with a shout of a play-off spot

Ponte v Scarborough - Surely the champions will want to go the rest of the season unbeaten? Scabs win but they wont have it that easy.

Brods v Morley - difficult one to call, both can beat anyone on their day, but both can flatter to deceive, I'll sit on the fence and go for a draw.

Salem v Selby - If Salem play like they did last week then I think they've got the beating of Selby, Salem just.

M&N v Pock - Backing the lads to go and avenge the defeat earlier in the season, should be a cracking game and a great atmosphere. Pock win

Forty Twenty

Donny P v Wetherby - I have previously said I thought Donny P would win this game, unfortunately I think they are now going to finish the season without a win (although as everyone's said extremely happy they honoured their trip to Scabs to allow them to make a day out of it). Wetherby to jump out the relegation playoffs and set up an almost relegation playoff semi final v Ponte in the final week. Wetherby + 7

Town v Crocs - Town still with a shot at the playoffs but have struggled the past couple of weeks. Crocs will have to leave everything on the pitch needing to win both their game to avoid the relegation playoffs. However I think they will be cemented there come 5pm on Saturday. The disco lads to run in a few before what I imagine will be a social for their last home game. Town +7

Ponte v Scabs - The well deserved champions to finish the season unbeaten, however, Ponte will push them close and pick up a couple bonus points. Scabs -7

Brods v Morl€y - After a shaky start to 2026 Brods have picked up 2 excellent results in a row and on the hill I fancy them to have the beating of Morley. Brods -7

$alem v Selby - this game could go either way $alem normally pretty good at home and Selby not so good away. $alem +7

M&N v Pock - Pock having a fantastic season and M&N now safe. M&N still have a shot at promotion playoffs so fancy them to come out for this especially at home. M&N to nick it last min pen. M&N -7

Scarborough have already lost three when their nine wasn't refereeing.

I assume he/she meant go unbeaten between now and the end of the season.

DP v Wetherby - DP will be building for next year already. I think Wetherby will win but a good contest.

Moortown v Crocs - Moortown to run in a hat full.

Ponte v Scarborough - I've been worried about this match for weeks. As soon as we beat Pock at their place I was confident we would be champions after the Donny P match.
That means that we go to a difficult place to play a team who are fighting. 5% swings make a big difference.

Brods v Morley - These two are impossible to predict which team is going to turn up! I'll go for the hill dwellers to pip it

Salem v Selby - Salem should run away with this one.

M&N v Pock - This will be a ding dong of a match. If I wasn't through at Pontefract I'd go to this. Malton need a point or two to be absolutely mathematically safe which I'm certain they'll get. Pock want the plum 2nd place for the best opportunity in the playoffs. It could go anywhere but I'll go for a bonus point win for Malton and 2 bonus points for Pock.

Donny Phoenix v Wetherby - can't see past a big win for Wetherby today.

Moortown v Crocs - will be a big win for the Balti men, with the scaffolding boys being particularly raucous

Ponte v Scarborough - Scarborough should win on form, but the psychological change in knowing they are up now may see a Ponte 5 point win.

brods v Morley - I'm going for an away win here in a tight game

Salem v Selby - again going for an away win from Selby

Malton v Pock - should be a big game today with local bragging rights to play for. I'm going with a home win in a tight game and Pock to take a losing bonus point

Very impressed with Ponte today who were it in nearly the entire match.

As expected Scarborough slightly off the pace but very efficient when needed to be. The main difference was the Scarborough backs being able to move the ball wide at speed.

A result either way wouldn't have been a surprise.

One small comment - the language of the Ponte players was horrendous. The game needs to attract children and families but the constant F-bombs and occasional C-bombs were unnecessary.

Other than that, a big crowd and good setup.

Zero chance Ponte will go down. Id expect them to be pushing next season.

Don't think there is zero chance Ponte will go down. Its any one from three. The only thing certain after yesterday is that Old Crocs can't avoid the relegation playoff.

Ponte have won more games than Wetherby and Old Crocs the issue is lack of bonus points. Ponte (10), Old Crocs (15) and Wetherby (17). When you only win by small margins you also loose by small margins.
