I watched the Pock v Morley match...

Two big sides, so lots of collisions and contact.

Pock pulled away and deserved their win.

Very disappointed with Morley who I assume were missing a few.

My general takeaway from the match was that both sides would be physically fine in the league above (perhaps better suited than Scarborough) but there was a total lack of any creativity or independent thought from either side. There seemed to be an absolute determination to run into contact at every opportunity.

It was almost a microcosm of the English rugby approach.

If Pock are away to Consett in the semi-final it will be a very difficult match for them but winnable.

Loving all rugby but especially at grassroots level.

If Pock make it to the playoff final they will play York who lost to Middlesborough today.

York v Pock would be an interesting end to the season.

May I ask at what score was the game moved to a 2nd team pitch.
29-0 stinks of a gulf in class/ rugby union knowledge as opposed to a change of pitch.

I believe it's now Pocklington vs Consett for the privilege of playing York. The RN2 had a HWO in the playoff first round, such is the appetite to go up

Gutted to hear that Jimmy i had been informed by one of the OC committee that he had been discharged from hospital with no fractures found, and was at the time of the message being sent to me on his way home. Hence my post saying that was good to hear appoligies if that was wrong.

I think this thread needs closing as I'm fairly certain there will be legal action following. All parties therefore need fair process and it not to be discussed on a social platform.

avinastella

There is a process available to clubs if they think foul play occurred.
Are we to assume that option is to be taken up?

Good observation BRB, Morley were missing 3 backs from the side at Old Brods.

I thought the lads who stepped up did the shirt proud and I think that both have futures at this level, nevertheless by my reckoning that was our 10th and 11th player 'selection' at Centre this season.
Although our 13 today is one of our 1st choice wingers.

We've had a campaign where in terms of injuries nothing has gone our way.

Can't comment on either club. However, individuals do not have to and have previously chosen not to pursue this route. I am only suggesting either no more conversation on the topic or to close the thread to protect all parties.

We can trust people to leave that incident alone and concentrate on the substance of the topic.

If it becomes inappropriate the Mod can intervene.
