We are here.

Promotion:
Pocklington vs Selby
Old Brodleians vs Morley

Relegation:
Wetherby vs Old Crossleyans

A fair end to the season? I think Pocklington will easily walk away with the win at home. The other 2 games are much harder to predict.

I will back Old Brodleians on the hill at home but Morley at full tilt (after resting their starboys and saving a pretty penny vs Crossleyans) will be looking to spend that cash on a play off run.

Wetherby on their home pitch will fancy themselves however Old Crossleyans are no mug on their day and capable of beating anybody. An average Wetherby beat an average Crossleyans but an on-song Crossleyans beats an on-song Wetherby.

Wetherby to get the job done.

Currently 7 teams have given walkovers in Regional 2 promotion play-off matches.
There are none in Regional 1 promotion play-offs

No surprises that all were Home walk overs.

Keswick give Percy Park a HWO in R2N.

R2NE matches are still on.

Pocklington and Old Brods must be favourites to win but I think that both Selby and Morley could be in the next round.

Home advantage is likely to be the difference in our playoffs but I wouldn't be surprised at any possible outcome.

Four good teams.

Great physical game to watch today at Old Brods with Morley coming out on top 28-21.

Credit to both teams who never gave up. Morley played up the hill first half and although they went in behind the feeling was that perhaps Brods didn't use the advantage of the hill quite enough.

Morley came out firing and scored a try straight after half time which shifted the momentum and they never really looked back, although at one point the scores were 21-22.

Six points from the boot of Morley's ten secured the victory late on, first with a penalty and then an opportunist drop goal.

Both teams should be commended for their efforts.

And it looks like Pock had quite a big win against Selby - although Selby scored a few too.

So Pock v Morley in the quater-final

Did Middlesbrough and York play today?

Jesus,
only in the quarter finals??. Please can some informed person tell me how it all works. Seems desperately long and without logic to me.

I think (!!) the winner of Pock v Morley plays the winner of the same process in R2N in the semis..

Then the final is the winner of that match against the loser of Middlesbrough v York.

So if Pock win two more games and for example York lose to Middlesbrough it will be York v Pock in the final. The winner stays in/goes to R1NE

However I may be completely wrong!
