Nothing has officially being finalised and things could still change but it looks like Yorkshire 3 will be spilt in to 2 leagues of 10. A (North & East) & B (South & West)

Yorkshire 3A

Burley
Hornsea
Rowntrees
Skipton
West Park Leeds
York RI
Morley 2's
Scarborough 2's
Selby 2's
Wensleydale 2's

Yorkshire 3B

Barnsley
Castleford
Halifax
Hemsworth
Maltby
Ossett
Rotherham Phoenix
Cleckheaton 2's
Huddersfield 2's
Pontefract 2's

Interesting to see they have promoted York RI as the best 2nd place team from last seasons Y4 and relegating Thornensians.

What do people think about the make up of each league ?

Ignoring all the discourse around whether this should, or should not be happening, I think these leagues look quite fun.

At first glance the A division looks to have far more travel, but based on the teams involved the split seems about right. The B division looks stacked with local derbies. Maltby looked a good outfit last year too, so that's shaping up to be a competitive division.

I can't speak to the quality of the 2nd teams being added as I'm not familiar with them, but this feels like the last level where there is some level of parity and should generally be a competitive season. In Y4 I can see some real cricket scores being dished out, I think the likes of Richmondshire, Aireborough and Leeds Modernians will struggle while the leagues calibrate.

Teams on the coast or up in the dales will always have to travel regardless of the league they're in.

IMO there is a couple of teams in league A that should feel quite confident about doing well but League B should be a tighter league. It will come down to the 2nd teams and what level they actually are.

Having recently watched Huddersfield in the play offs they'll absolutely pump every team.

I wouldn't be surprised if a 2nd team topped both divisions.

I think a silver lining we can all agree on - despite all of this chopping and changing - is that Castleford will still be getting pumped every week.

So the powers that be have railroaded this through. Quite why Wensleydale 2s are in there when there 1sts are only 2 divisions higher I have no idea. Why Scarborough 2s aren't in the division above alongside Malton, Driffield and Pocklington and Ionians 2s, together with Beverley Ripon and Northallerton is not easily explained.
Why 36 second teams couldn't have a second team league competition is beyond me.
And who do the second teams that haven't joined the bandwagon play against.
4 less League games as well.
You can probably gather I'm not in favour.
