am hearing that Selby 2s have been placed in 3A at the expense of Pythons further extending travel for us. Who in their right minds would put Skipton, Ribb2s and Keighley2s in different leagues. Simply put surely it would be better for Keighley to be in 3A along with Skipton and us and move say West Park Leeds who are 40 miles nearer to the likes of Hornsea etc etc. I know common sense is in short supply on this subject but even Stevie Wonder could see its all f****d up.

Yea on the latest one they have.
I mean yourselves at Ribb and Skipton would be better in B maybe with Pontefract and Moortown in A. Would be logistical a bit better.

Anyone had news of fixgures as yet?

Not yet my expectation is Friday afternoon but live in hope of it being sooner

I will respond.

The fixtures are being issued w/c 22/6/26. It is reasonable to suggest that it will be this week.

The initial delay was caused by the meeting regarding Macclesfield.

I cannot provide any further information, sorry.

Fixtures are out on RFU website. First round of games the 12th September

Which League has the overall stronger 2nd teams that will challenge the first teams more ? A or B ?

I would say A with North Ribb and Scarborough being the stand outs, wouldn't be at all surprised to see those two at the top.

Pock and Selby both finished above Scarborough.

Few recruits and keep last seasons team together. Pock will be up there

I think B  will be a tougher league overall in terms of not that much separating all the teams but then in league A I can see a couple of teams being dominant and and couple really struggling with 7 or 8 teams being 'mid table'

Obviously all depends on the depth of the second teams, some may start slow if they've a high level of rugby league players and then mid season onwards it will be injuries to not only that team but their first teams aswell that may effect them
