A couple of interesting results.
Everyone knew that Goole had a performance in them but wasn't expecting such a big win away from home.

Very surprised by the Malton result. Crocs have really been giving it a go recently. Maybe their various red cards have taken their toll?

And although Brods are tough to be beat at home, that was a good win against Wetherby.

From a Scarborough point of view...I haven't wanted to dwell on it but we have been devastated by injuries and unavailabilities. I'm sure other clubs have too. Yesterday we started the match with forwards in the backs and dragged two old soldiers out of retirement to help out admirably. Shame only one goes up or it would have been a hell of a fight for 2nd spot (well still will be).

Loving all rugby but especially at grassroots level.

I was a guest at the Pontefract Rochdale game. As always at Ponte the pre match meal and hospitality were great.

Ponte had the best of the first 20 minutes playing the power game and scored their points. Rochdale then gradually  found a way back into the game, they scored a try just before half time but the conversion under the posts was charged down. A penalty then a try gave them the lead.

Last ten minutes was all Pontefract but they could not find a score.

Spoke to some of the Rochdale supporters and they hope promotion will see them in North West 1 next year.
