Top 3 bottom 3 ?

Predictions for the season ? Arguably going to be a tighter season than last year IMO.

My top 3 (in no particular order)

Cleckheaton
Pock
Old Brods

Bottom 3
Wetherby
Pontefract
Wath

I can see Wath in the top 3 alongside Pocklington and Morley

No clear and obvious favourite for the top or the drop.

On paper you'd expect Pock, Cleck and Morley to up there. Morley seems to have recruited quite heavily so I expect them to be strong. But have other teams just not been announcing their signings?

The bottom, you'd assume that the two promoted sides and then Wetherby and Pontefract to be down there again.

It all depends on who has retained players and then of course added to their team.

Regardless, a strong league this year.

Everyone is obsessed with "signings."Success is often down to teams getting better through good coaching, fitness, avoiding injuries, getting a good team ethic going and giving up and coming players a chance.
Signimg players from elsewhere, sometimes with dubious benefits, can undermine a lot of that.

Get the feeling that this is a 'yer mum is yer dad question.'

My Club; Morley, lost to Pock in the play offs, quite rightly.

However we had so many injuries to established players that our midfield combo were both debutants and our pack was probably not our first choice.

Throughout the year this was a pattern I would hate to repeat.

Top 3 etc I feel will come down to who can get their better players out most often.

Nevertheless after 3/4 games the picture will be clearer, if your not in the Top 3 by then..... it's not your season.

Wetherby in for a likely disappointing season following the departure of their captain and fullback Charlie Yates, whilst Moortown propel their roster with the aforementioned charlie yates
