Beverley v North Ribblesdale - having seen Ribb's team selection it is certainly not a 2's side so going for Bev 24 - 45 Ribb

Yarnbury v Ripon - Ripon always up for the cup but I think Yarnbury may have too much at home. Yarnbury 34 - 26 Ripon

Good game at Beaver Park yesterday. First blood to Bev with a penalty but Ribb gradually warmed to their task and two tries before the break saw us lead 10-3.
We put the game to bed early in the second half in an often feisty affair with another two converted tries. Beverley kept playing and with a man in the bin used the extra man well to score two tries and get within 8 points. We then scored a clincher near the finish to wrap things up. A sparse crowd for a semi-final but overall a good entertaining game between two like minded sides trying to play expansive rugby. Beverley welcomed us in their usual homely manner and are a good club, with some good young players. Think they will be a force in Y1 next season if they get a better start than this.
