Already into week 4 of the season and some strengths/weaknesses starting to appear. A couple of potentially large scorelines this week but also a few really compelling fixtures:

Bridlington v Hullensians
Goole v Old Crossleyans
Harrogate Pythons v Doncaster Phoenix
Old Rishworthian v Old Otliensians
West Leeds v Keighley
Yarnbury v Wensleydale

Grasser17

Brid +7
Goole +7
Pythons +7
OO's -7
West Leeds -7
Yarnbury +7

The Lurker

Bridlington v Hullensians
I don't think anyone expected 'ull's demolition job on OR last weekend. Brid strong at home so backing them to bring home the chips. Brid -7

Goole v Old Crossleyans
I think Crocs underestimated the strength of Yorkshire 1 and I hear they are flying in even more southern hemisphere talent. Goole play their big pitch well so Goole +7

Harrogate Pythons v Doncaster Phoenix
Some green shoots of recovery from the Donny youngsters last week. The starbeck snakes should have too much for them but hopefully a competitive scoreline again. Pythons +7

Old Rishworthian v Old Otliensians
Had the weather turned the OR bog would have been a bit of a leveller but going to back Otlensians to continue their run of form. OO +7

West Leeds v Keighley
Tough to call this one, Keef have had a poor start by their standards and will want to get a win on the board. WL with a big win at the farmyard last week will be looking to back it up at home. WL -7

Yarnbury v Wensleydale
I did suspect the plane spotters wouldn't have quite as much success this season but think they're still good value at home and Wensleydale need a statement after a heavy home loss last week. Yawno -7

Brid v Hull - Seaside Derby. I think Hull were rather lucky to catch Ri$h on a week with a B team out. Can't imagine Hull will get anything out of the day apart from a picturesque coastal drive and maybe some Fish & Chips. :/ - Brid +7

Goole v Crocs - Probably the most testing fixture of the year. Crocs really hindered last week by the penalty count. If they can keep that down, I am still confident of a result. Lurker (living up to his name) our resident Argie loves it so much at Broomfield, he has convinced his mate to join. Will our pet rocket get B2B Hattricks, or will our Pet Rhino out do him this week? Crocs -7

HP v DP - Not this week DP. HP +70

Ri$h v OO - Ri$hie$ pitch may contain the flash. However I still think OO have too much overall for them. Tight, error laden game. OO -7

WL v Keith - Two teams I don't know loads about, apart from Keith struggles post 60 min. WL +7

Yarnbury v Wensleydale - Yarnbury will cause a few problems for most teams this year, especially if they start their star winger, instead of leaving him rotting on the bench for the first half. Looks identical to the OO's Flash. Yarn +7

Please don't describe him as star winger, it's hard enough getting his head through the door as it is...

Blessedhooker

Bridlington v Hullensians - Two pretty inconsistent sides that can ship points. Palace v Fulham. Is the Brid home support as hostile as it used to be or have they relaxed since dropping a division or two? Brid +7

Goole v Old Crossleyans - Goole tough to beat on the beach they play on. Crocs seem to play to the level of their opposition. Away side to start showing some class and get the job done to kickstart the season. Crocs -7

Harrogate Pythons v Doncaster Phoenix - More than Brid less than Yarn?

Old Rishworthian v Old Otliensians - OO centres will have a field day I don't think the ball will need to get to the F-15 on the wing. OO +7

West Leeds v Keighley - Could be a decent match up Keith could be starting to get a bit twitchy now. Draw

Yarnbury v Wensleydale - Still know not alot about Dale. Going off no knowledge at all I dont think the pitch or conditions will suit them. Yarn +7

crocodiledundee

Bridlington v Hullensians
Was last weeks result a turn in form for Hull? I don't think they will be able to beat the hostile crowd in a close game. Brid-7

Goole v Old Crossleyans
Arguably one of the toughest places to travel to (after the croc pit) so will be an interesting match. Think crocs pack will be able to match gooles and win the upfront battle. Always going to back our boys. Crocs -7

Harrogate Pythons v Doncaster Phoenix
Pythons to constrict even more life out of a struggling phoenix. HP +7

Old Rishworthian v Old Otliensians
Are rumours of a weakened rish team last week true? I don't think it will matter when the OO missile is bombing down the wing to score. OO +7

West Leeds v Keighley
WL picking up some good results and going under the radar. Reckon they will be pushing the top end of the table and cause teams problems. That said close game between Keighley & OO last week, have keighley turned a corner? Home advantage to edge it in a high scoring match. WL -7

Yarnbury v Wensleydale
Yarbury were solid last week and I fully expect them to be even better at home. Wensleydale struggling to find results, and will struggle again. Yarn +7

Retired youngster

Bridlington v Hullensians Hull -7
Goole v Old Crossleyans Goole +7
Harrogate Pythons v Doncaster Phoenix pythons +7
Old Rishworthian v Old Otliensians Ensians +7
West Leeds v Keighley west +7
Yarnbury v Wensleydale Yarnbury +7

Noted, I shall solely use the term in reference to our NO.11 from now on.

Was there a reason for him not starting last week? He was our nomination for Yarn MOTM even though he didn't start.
