Great game of rugby at Wath today in their local park. Apparently their first team pitch has just been reseeded in October...interesting timing and no mind games at all.

Morley dominated the opening 40 minutes and were clinical in attack. Then behold the Wath revival in the second half - some poor tackling by Morley let them back in the game and Wath well and truly had their tails up. Credit to them too, many teams would have folded but they staged a valiant comeback and only a late Morley score sealed a victory. 5 points on the road but lots of lessons to be learned.

It was quite amusing listening to the Wath supporters about how much money is being dished out to our 6ft5 second rowers. 💰

Can't believe Salem had a red card...must have the wrong team

I don't like coming on when we win as it seems disingenuous.

Town Vs Ponte is always a class game and today was no different. Pontefract's fullback is a completely different gravy and creates so much space for his wingers. Hope he makes a full recovery from his knock today.

Ponte raced to a 32-0 lead and were unplayable. Pace, skill and tenacity left Town all over the shop. But, as this fixture always does Town dug deep and stuck it to em scoring 27 unanswered points! In the end two good sides scoring 5 tries each and a game superbly refereed. I would be surprised if Ponte are not up there at the end and the season. Their 8 also deserves a mention absolute warrior of a player.

No need to worry - doesn't look like you won...  ;)

Stalwart or import?

Best 40 minutes of rugby I have seen for a long time at Pontefract yesterday. Total dominance in every area of the field. Moortown woke up in the second half and it was twitchy bum time for the home fans, but 5 points is all that matters. The only downer on the day was the loss of their exciting young full back, with a broken leg. Hoping for a speedy recovery.

Counted on one hand the number of away supporters. Don't Moortown support their team away from home?

We all know you lot like to keep it in the family at ponte so who knows how many fingers you will have! So it could have been in the hundreds!
