Quote from: Wakefield4 on Oct 17, 2026, 07:23 PMThe Sandal V Northern score on yorkshire rfu site, I looks to be wrong way round. Sandal report on website showing Northern win. 1 point to sandal, 5 to northern, I think.

Yes I understood it's wrong

The York v Driffield result was a bit of a shock....

Not necessarily that Driff won...it could always go either way that one. But not that score..

Differ Lid

Driffield were flying today, looked a different side to what I've seen in the 1st 3 weeks.

York had the beating of Driffield in the scrum, but other than 1 scrum free kick Driffield handled it well not losing any against the head.
That was about the only area I think York had the upper hand.

Driffield bounced back with an excellent performance, with the defence finally looking to be working. That being said York could be in trouble on today's showing, the normal top players Atkin, Scholey, Westaby, Fothergill and an aging Enslin are heavily used throughout, just not much backing them up at the moment.

Tough week again next week on the road to Hull, but some really positive signs today.

Tough game for Blaydon today. Hull's bigger forwards caused a lot of difficulty. Then their ex league pros ran freely with 2 excellent scores to boot.

Some big scores elsewhere. Driffield score surprised me, well done them. York struggling?!

Northern still soaring high. How long can this continue?

Scarborough coming through.

Scunthorpe as expected.

Alwnick seem to be firing all on cylinders and really put Ilkley to the sword.
