Ilkley v Blaydon
Back to winning ways for Ilkley who will be smarting after their spanking last week. Blaydon will fight hard but a comfortable win for the home side by the final whistle.

Middlesbrough v Alnwick
They'll lose at some point but I can't see it being today. I think the Alnwick roadshow will rumble on with a decent away win.

North Ribblesdale v Scunthorpe
Long trip for Scunny who I don't know much about - I think North Ribbs lighteningly good backs will be too strong for Scunny. Home win

Sandal v York
Sadly I can't see Yorks season getting going here - it will be close but should result in a very tight home win.

Hull v Driffield
The home side going well and have a bit of confidence. Drif will feel much better after last weeks big win away against York, albeit a very depleted York. Could be a shock but I don't think so - Hull to win a relatively close match.

Northern v Scarborough
Home side will be very confident of continuing their run. Scarborough have been very poor away from the citadel of Silver Royd - nobody else will predict a Scarborough win but I will - just.
Loving all rugby but especially at grassroots level.

Pristine Shorts

Ilkley v Blaydon - after a shocking defensive display at Alnwick last week, Ilkley will be looking forward to bouncing back right away. Four tries at Alnwick were nowhere near enough, but they should be at home.

Middlesbrough v Alnwick - the Northumbrians were awesome last week and obviously on a roll. Another five points should propel them back to the top

North Ribb - v Scunthorpe - an interesting fixture. Scunny won well last week and I suspect they will do so once more against the league's new boys. Close though.

Sandal v York - there's a reason York are propping the table up and I think they will continue to do so after a battering in Wakefield.

Hull v Driffield - the Hired Hands are back on the horse and I don't see Driff troubling them much I'm afraid. Shame though.

Northern v Scarborough - have to agree with BRB here, but I can't see past another win for Northern, albeit a close one.

Dalesmen to return to winning ways +7
Alnwick all the way +7
Worried about Scunny big pack but got to back us at home -7
Sandal-7
Hull Mercenaries -7
Northern to continue their flying start +7

Good Luck to all.

Hot Stepper

Interesting addition to the Scarborough bench

Kellythorpe

Ilkley +7 easy home win
Alnwick +7 A to continue to probable promotion
If NR can get some ball to their good backs as per 1st half last week, they can win. NR -7
Sandal +7 going on recent results
I obviously want a Driff win, but I am worried about Hull's bigger and more experienced pack dominating the match. Optimistically D -7
If S'boro can play as they did 2nd half last Saturday, I can envisage an upset away at Northern who seem to be flying. I go S -7

Bin Juice

Ilkley v Blaydon
Ilkley will be firing after last weeks hammering. Blaydon on the back of two defeats. Could be an interesting game and will come down to defence.
Blaydon

Middlesbrough v Alnwick
Alnwick to continue their charge to promotion.
Alnwick

North Ribb - v Scunthorpe
Would like to say North Ribblesdale, but think Scunthorpe might just sneak this.
Scunthorpe

Sandal v York
Misery to continue for the aging York squad and rugby league player coaches...
Sandal

Hull v Driffield
Hull's ex rugby league pros to the job on the Woldsmen as much as it pains me to say.
Hull

Northern v Scarborough
Northern with possibly the best first 5 fixtures for a promoted team I've seen in many years. Not taking anything away from them, but can see this being their last win before Christmas.
Northern

Differ Lid

Ilkley vs Blaydon
This could be a very good game for attacking rugby. Think I have to back the home side
Ilkley Win

Middlesbrough vs Alnwick
Don't think this one needs any explaining
Alnwick Win

North Ribb vs Scunthorpe
Might be a long trip for Scunny but following a season in Nat 2 not sure that will be a shock to them.
Scunny Win

Sandal vs York
With all the chat of loan players, and Nat 2 rest week I wouldn't be surprised to see if York get a couple of names in, and if Reece Dean plays then maybe they have a shot. But home advantage no doubt to much.
Sandal Win

Hull vs Driffield
Hull clearly had a few more South Sea Islanders on the team sheet last weekend, and I'm sure will go from strength to strength. But will back the Woldsmen to continue from last week in a slightly tighter game
Driffield Win

Northern vs Scarborough
If this was at Silver Royd I think Northern would be facing the first defeat of the season, but as BRB has point out Scarborough don't appear to of travelled well yet. Agree with Bin Juice, Northern with a very fortunate run of fixtures and this could be the last victory for a few weeks.
Northern Win
