If it's any consolation injuries and other issues had a similar effect on both us and Brid 2 and 3 years ago respectively but we got through it.
Or is this some clever ploy to lull Scarborough into a false sense of relaxation and you have actually signed 5 Hull FC players debuting on Saturday??
6 actually! In all seriousness the team we put out on Saturday will be the strongest available at the club, looking forward to it, always evenly contested games between the 2 sides.
Re the 2nd/3rd team game - best result all round, at least 30+ lads will get a game on a Saturday instead of being dragged Christmas shopping!

« on: December 01, 2016, 09:01:44 AM »I understand that Hullensiens have massive injury problems running through their senior sections. They are unable to raise a 3rd team at home against us this Saturday which is probably due to the trickle down effect of missing players...
You are right BRB, unfortunately injuries have blighted our good start to the season, but no moaning from us that's just the way it goes. As I have previously said our squad is small so a handful of injuries can really affect us.
Apologies for not being able to fulfill the planned 3rd team fixture but as you say the trickle down of players has meant a number of 3rd teamers are in the 2's, and 2nd teamers are in the 1sts. But that's the way the it should be at a rugby club at this level, in my opinion.
