Good all round performance by Scarborough especially game management in the second half. Some really good tactical kicking. Good effort from Wetherby who had significant possession but were unable to convert this to points.
We've had this referee a number of times previously so we should be used to his interpretations of the laws.....
When the second seal was opened another horse came out, a fairy red one. Its rider was given power to take the p*ss from the earth and to make men lay with each other. To him was given a large ego.

Don't feel as though pock are getting enough credit
Right after promotion to go undefeated through 10 games in a league that is proving anyone can beat anyone on their day is incredible Fair play
Love watching them play week in week out
So clinical and physical

Hot Stepper

Pock are a very well organised side, but this league isn't as strong as it was last year IMO. A lot of teams in transition, who struggle to get their best squad out every week.

From what I've seen, there are a couple of teams who could have too much for Pock if they find their rhythm. That being said, Pock keep beating what's in front of them!

Ruckitrory

I think some of the worse teams have just gotten better I don't think the league itself has gotten worse. It's a very exciting league this year
But pock will win
UP THE POCK

I think he's right...Pock are perfectly entitled to think they will go unbeaten and probably have won the league already.

Let the battle for 2nd place begin....

Obviously not involved this season but its great to see Pock "Ripping it up" as we beat them twice last season. Comfortably at Percy Road, but only just at Ribb. We are making lots of new friends in the North West but can anybody please tell me if we will be allowed back to meet you all next season as is our want. The travel expense is killing us.

Youll have to get promoted to meet Pock as they are already up!

Worth noting that Pock have and continue to struggle with injuries to key first team players.

What costs more.. travel expenses or 15 player/coaches?

Don't be daft BRB, we're not even halfway through the season yet and you're having us down as champions!

Some massive games coming up and as previous results show, most teams are capable of beating anyone on their day.

What's the the hostility mate we are on the same side here.
I just get very passionate at the success of my club what is wrong that that?

BRB

Stop trying to play down Scarborough's chances, only 9 games out of 22 played.

Not unusual for sides to suffer post Christmas blues and fall way. Scarborough or Brods put a run together and Pocklington loose a couple of games and the title and promotion is wide open.

I can't see anyone catching Pock...but let's see.

As ever in all leagues it's down to which 18 are available each week.

Wolfy,
please behave with your goads. I am chair and can honestly state we dont pay anyone other than the coach, to coach and not play. We are exceptionally lucky to have a once in a generation of good local players who want to continue playing with their mates. We are very lucky and nothing will encourage us to to break our rules. I know it wont last froever but I can tell you we are all enjoying the ride, meeting new clubs and making new friends.
