Watch bees vs OO. Despite the relatively low score it was a brilliant watch. Great advertisement for this level of Rugby played in the right spirits. Weather favoured Bees as Ensians struggled to bring their backs into play. However Bees were very good value for the win and left a couple of tries out there. Fair result in the end.

Locked Out

Ripon trailed all the way yesterday and it looked like Baildon's passion was going to see them through as they looked to finish the stronger of the two sides. Pretty evenly matched, though Baildon defence and Ripon's less than optimal play with the ball, made it look like the hosts were never going to get close to scoring a try.

Something clicked in the last five minutes for Ripon and in the descending gloom, after opting for a scrum from a penalty, the last gasp try took Ripon that bit closer. The touchline conversion was sweet as a nut and a draw was as good a great escape as Ripon could have hoped for.

North Vs Van

Vandals had a bit of a rinse and repeat of the Ripon game, only with a lot of bodies switched in for unavailabilities. They all pitched in and had great games.

In the first half Vandals soaked up a lot of pressure from North & scored twice from only two entries into Norths 22. It was a more open second half and was only put to bed in the last couple of minutes. Great battle, hard nosed and played right, no quarter given from both sides.

With 3 on the bounce and a big derby before the Xmas break we aim to keep momentum going and make it 4 wins from 4 going into the new year.
