Officially in the end game now. Heated battle for the title. 6 points separating 3rd and 8th. Uncertainty about the numbers going down making it interesting at the bottom. Some really difficult games to call this week.

Harrogate Pythons v Wath Upon Dearne
Hullensians v Goole
Keighley v Dinnington
Leodiensian v Beverley
Old Rishworthian v West Leeds
Wensleydale v Yarnbury

Locked Out

Harrogate Pythons v Wath Upon Dearne: if Pythons' injury woes are still present, particularly up front, this will be a tough day at the office for them. Woff +7

Hullensians v Goole: can't see much home comfort for Hull, so Goonies +7

Keighley v Dinnington: Contender for match of the day. Dinno look home and dry for promotion but the magic carpet might favour the home team. Going Keefleh -7

Leodiensian v Beverley: Academic really and just a tester to see who's least worst. Think Leos might just pull something out of the bag. Leos -7

Old Rishworthian v West Leeds: Could be MOTD2 with only three points separating them. Rich in form and so +7

Wensleydale v Yarnbury: A similar story to the last one here and think Dale have enough in the their team and will play the mountainside better to come out on top. Dale +7
.

Pythons vs Wath - routine win for the league leaders. Wath+7

Hullensians vs Goole - Goole should get the job done even though they aren't the strongest on the road this season. Goole +7

Keighley vs Dinno - GOTW, probably Dinno's toughest game left this season, narrow away win. Dinno -7

Old Rish vs W Leeds - can't see anything other than a home win with the form the home team are in. Old Rish +7

Leo vs Bev - probably both playing Y2 next season, Bev are conceding an alarming number of points on the road recently so a narrow home win. Leo's -7

Wensleydale vs Yarnbury - home advantage just. Dale -7

Currently Looking at this it's 2 up and 2 down because dinnington are in the top 5 best 2nd placed teams nationally in level 7. If they drop out the top 5 I think it will be 1 up 3 down because 2 teams are definitely going down from R2NE in to Y1

The Glove Mans Predictions

Harrogate vs Wath - Harrogates alleged 'Injury Crisis' will debilitate them against a side with the class and physicality Wath posses. Routine win. Ryan Burrows +7... Sorry i mean Wath +7.

Hullensians vs Goole - Really not much to be said about this one, I dont think it will be an overly exciting match. Hull are slipping further and further as the weeks progress and Goole should comfortable do them in. Goole +7

Keighley vs Dinnington - Mmmmmm very tasty fixture. This match could be a competition deciding one. This is really Dinningtons last hurdle and the only game I see Dinno struggling with. Will the magic carpet pay dividends to Keighley? I think it will and Keighley will be desperate for a result having to still play Wath in a few weeks and trying to cling onto that 3rd position on the table. Will be a good game none the less with every result proving so important across the board. Keighley -7

Leodiensian vs Beverley - The battle of the Shitters. Absolute poo slinger of a match. Result depends on who is less shit rather than who is better. I expect a set piece filled game full of pens, knock ons and general errors. Gonna go in favour of the table as Leos are shit, and Beverley actually have a glimmer of hope to play for but who actually knows. Beverley +7

Old Rishworthians vs West Leeds - Expect a really tasty game from this as both teams play a similar brand of Rugby. West Leeds seem to have been outclassed last week and will be looking to make up for that this week so will expect them to be firing and ready for a grudge match. Rish on the other hand have a large amount of momentum leading into this and a winning mindset can prove to be so important. This is a match that can go both ways and will be so hard to split them. This is a true mid table clash and expecting both sides to throw the kitchen sink at each other for the full 80 minutes. That being said going with the vibe in Copley and favouring the home advantage in a close one. Rish -7

Wensleydale vs Yarnbury - Another TASTY fixture. Wensleydale have played there wobbly pitch well thus far this year with only Dinno & Wath coming away from the cheese country with a Win. Yarnbury can play some good footy but they are far more suited to the faster pitches which Dale certainly is not. I envision Wensleydale will be targeting to play primarily through there forwards and use the big farmers to bash them up front. Tough trip for Yarnbury and i see Wensleydale triumphing. Wensleydale +7

Summary
All in all i think this round is the best to date and could see a lot of movements on the table especially in the meat of it between 3rd and 8th. Some great rugby to be played and come 5pm on Saturday the table could look very different.

The Lurker

Harrogate Pythons v Wath Upon Dearne
Even at full strength Pythons would be hard pressed to get much from this game, Wath +7

Hullensians v Goole
Hull seem to have waved the white flag on the season, not far for the Goolies to travel either. Goole +7

Keighley v Dinnington
Going to back Dinno, they've not had the best luck on plastic this season but think they've got a bit more threat  out wide than Keef. Dinn -7

Leodiensian v Beverhull
Not going to be quite as dismissive as SMG but two teams who have struggled this season. Leo's look dead and buried in the league but I reckon they'll play for pride and edge it at home. Leo's -7

Old Rishworthian v West Leeds
The Trainspotters have had a good middle season but might struggle once the pitches dry up a bit and they can't impose their narrow game on teams. West Leeds the most unpredictable in the league. Expecting a close contest but OR -7

Wensleydale v Yarnbury
Dale a different prospect at home; the planespotters not the push overs up front they used to be but will be a game of contrasting styles. Draw

Leo's really let me down there but could the great escape be on for the beavers?

Upset of the day; Yawno humping the cheesemongers on their cabbage patch.

The Glove Mans Round Up

Harrogate 24 vs Wath 47 - No real shock here. Seems Gate put up a decent fight and didn't give in fully. Good to see a bit of fight from Gate to one of the Top Dogs.

Hull 14 vs Goole 50 - That would have been an embarrassing loss at home for Hull. Can someone check Hull's pulse because they seem to be flat lining.

Keighley 37 vs Dinnington 49 - Dinnington getting it done on the carpet is a show of class as it is a bit of a fortress for Keighley. Good result and keeps the top two neck and neck.

Leo's 15 vs Beverley 22 - Has poo slinger written all over it. Leos are shit so no surprises Beverley got it done.

Rish 25 vs West Leeds 27 - Sounded like the game of the round by the scoreline with a 19-0 score line to West Leeds at the half and rish turned it around to be winning at the death before a West Leeds score in the 86th minute stole it. A quote from the message i received after the match from a fellow rugby loving neutral "I know referees are what make our Saturdays go round every week, however that was the worst officiated match i have ever witnessed." I would love some further input from someone who was down there but sounds like it was a great game ruined by a whistle heavy official? Either way the score line reflects the predictions of a tightly contested grudge match.

Wensleydale 7 vs Yarnbury 52 - Wow...who sore that coming? Must have been a family wedding on in Wensleydale and half the team where out. That is the upset of recent times and again really spices up this mid table contest. Something must have gone terrible wrong for Dale to get pumped like that.

Summary
All in all another awesome round of Yorkshire rugby and all eyes are on positions 3rd to 8th. These final few rounds are going to be TASTY.
