The Glove Mans Round Review

Yarnbury 21 vs 24 Harrogate Pythons - That is a great result for Harrogate especially getting one over Yarnbury  on the carpet. Yarnbury would have been flying high and full of confidence from last week and for Pythons to get one over them is a massive credit to them and it shakes up the mid table battle a bit further. Im sure this was a great spectators game but nothing boils my piss like that referee's pocket hankie antics, its not funny and not amusing for anyone but himself. Grow up.

Dinnington 64 vs 24 Leodiensians - No shock here, but not as bad as i was expecting and Leos crossed for a couple which is possible highlighting a defensive weakness for Dinno? Credit for Leos for still showing a bit of life even though there season is done. (Leos are still shit, but less shit this week)

Goole 35 vs 20 Keighley - Great result from Goole and was probably a close game for majority of the 80 mins. This does see Keighley slide further into the mid table scrum however highlighting the ever more importance of bonus points in this tight knit race.

West Leeds 43 vs 10 Wensleydale - Wensleydale may have gone a bit loopy last few weeks. A flogging at home and a convincing loss on the road in back to back weeks is not great for them leading into the final few matches. The wheels seem to be loose and if there not careful could come off. The easter break may have come at perfect time for dale giving them some much needed re grouping time. Credit to West Leeds though they would have been smiling after that one.

Wath upon Dearne 48 vs 10 Hullensians - Same as Leos, maybe a heartbeat shown from Hull here to keep it under 50 and bag a try or two. This is a half decent & respectable score for Hull to have lost by as this could have been a very silly scoreline. No Shock of final result however Waff just to much.

Beverley 20 vs 19 Old Rishworthian - IS THE GREAT ESCAPE ON?? This has got to be upset of the round and is clearly a show of "We will die trying" from Beverley. That is a good result for Beverley and i would imagine all thing considered not a overly devastating loss for Rish although im sure they are disappointed. Beverley seem to be strong at home. Thats two very tight losses for Rish in a row and they will be desperate to pick up a few extra points from those losses in the final 3 rounds.

Summary
Two things in life are certain, a member of the BBC being outed as a pedo and this mid table battle really spicing up for the back end of the year. It is becoming too tight to call.

Yours in Rugby,
The Glove Man
