What we know so far

Blaydon
Driffield
Hull
Ilkley
Kendal (potential west)
Northern
Sandal
Scarborough

We will know this weekend who remains between -
Alnwick or Harrogate
Middlesbrough or York

Playoff potentials -
Pock, Morley, Percy Park or Consett

Scunthorpe, Rossendale and Otley all in contention for automatic relegation or the playoff game.

Could be very nice for the East Yorkshire clubs travel bills if York can win 1st playoff and Pock come through the remaining fixtures.

Harrogate remaining in the league and Otley coming down would give some good Derby games for Ilkley.

Otley potentially at level 5.

Is that a first?
Loving all rugby but especially at grassroots level.

Don't forget North Ribb.

No they were here back in 19/20

The majority of the squad are playing for Hull for one reason, and it's certainly not the atmosphere in the club house post game.

If the money stops they don't have a playing squad, so the bubble will burst at some point.

However potential Beverley links the following season might be enough to keep the money flowing alittle longer

I think Middlesbrough will beat York, but York will beat the NE2 side who gets to play them. Kendal should be allowed to return to the NW and North Ribb to NE1.

Alnwick narrow favourites to beat Harrogate I feel.

Don't be so sure. We managed it.

It will all depend who comes down / up.

From the sides in contention and Rossendale West, Scunthorpe potential for the Midlands, but all the other sides are very much East. Kendal might have to move West just to even out numbers in each league before Ribb are taken into consideration.

I am inclined to disagree. I think York will win, even with some players missing. However, Middlesbrough will beat whoever they play from there on.

Either way, these two will be in R1NE next season.

As for Alwnick / Harrogate. Alnwick are the better side and I think they will win, especially at home.

I would quite like to say goodbye to Harrogate to get a thumping in Nat 2 for a season. But, it might possibly bring them down to Earth if they do not pass this round. Or should I not speak too soon?
