Hi.  As the season comes to a close, I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to all our referees.  They do a difficult job ,often in front of hostile crowds, who wouldn't know one end of a whistle from the other!  There is a severe shortage of referees in The North . Frequently
the home side has to find their own ref, for 2nd and 3rd team games. So let's get behind our refs and encourage more people to take up the whistle.   Enjoy your summer!

Yes I'll second that. They are a part of the match - there are 31 one folks on the pitch contributing to a match.

I dont understand all that foreign lingo, but I would like to reiterate our thanks to ALL the referees, who have a thankless task wherever they are. Damned if they do and, damned if they dont. Without their commitment our game would wither further and be in a much worse state than the precarious position it currently finds itself.
