Could the season get anymore bizarre? Views

Might give Selby 2s who run 5 teams usually a chance to get back in the new league structure which I'm presuming they voted for.

IMHO, whilst player safety is all our concern, imposing a blanket ruling doesn't take into account different club's circumstances. There are doubtless many clubs who do not have playable pitches and yet some who do. #

Ripon are planning to pursue the two scheduled pre-season warm ups v Peterlee & Horden on 22nd August and Wensleydale on 28th as agreed. Employing the same principle, Ripon are also seeking alternative friendly fixtures on the three cancelled cup and league weekends and the fixture sec will be corresponding widely to achieve that.

I guess another point from another thread elsewhere, is that with the "free Saturdays" being allocated for cancelled league games already and one club at least in a dilemma as they've arranged a significant social event on one of them... Begs the question - do clubs promote the policy that every Saturday is a rugby day or not? Clubs that publicise "free days" in fixture lists, run the risk of losing players to alternative activities and if matches are reallocated, struggle to raise teams.
