So are Ribb now a semi-pro outfit with national league stars and internationals flown in filling the 1st XV with 'local investment' whilst the good local lads in the 2nd XV struggle to catch the stopping train to their away fixtures?

Ironic for a team which struggled last season to differentiate between their 1st and 2nd XV

At the risk of sticking up for flaggy, I dare say a Latvian international will probably find a level five game a fair step up. Ribb's seconds will probably welcome some reinforcements going on their season so far...

Obfuscation is my new word of the week. My mission is to see how many Ripon Grammar old boys dotted around the club know what it means. It will definitely feature in my (as usual) fair, balanced and unbiased report of Ripon's away mastery of Ilkley Barbarians with a decisive five pointer.

Without looking it up I have no idea what it means but I would put money on there being a few obfuscators quite close to Corinthians in Miggie. !!!!!!!!
