There are lots of good teams in the league this season and it should be close at the top of the table come the end of the season.

However I thought I'd ask for people's opinions on the players to watch this season.

I watched quite a few teams last season and was impressed by some good players for example the winger at Rochdale who had pace to burn. Other players to impress were the hooker at Old Brods and the no.8 at Moortown.

Any others to watch out for?

The centre/fullback at Morley (the Doctor) is very good. I also rate the openside at Salem.
Loving all rugby but especially at grassroots level.

From an Un-Biased opinion for watching Bradford Salem vs Middlesbrough in the cup here are my thought on a few players:

The newly appointed captain "Morgan" seems to be a real attacking threat with great line breaks and leadership and encouragement to all players

The young winger "Biron" was great under the high ball and a real attacking threat in space

"Callum" at 9 had a fantastic game, leading the players round the park and controlling momentum

The Tall second row "Ben" carried where outstanding all game and lead the limit with real confidence

The 12 "Jake" carried with confidence managing to get a hatrick with some explosive carries while being front row replacement

I do believe salem will do well this season if they continue to develops their younger players, Salem have always been know to be very physical and with some big blokes.

I would say if Pawli is still playing for Bradford too then he is one to watch.

Agreed with Jim the hooker for Brods was strong last time I saw alongside the 8.

Moortown 8 is good as well agreed jim some good players in this league, Morley have also signed a number 8 who is a big carrier

pocklington 8 has representative honours for north england too

captain and 8 for doncaster very strong as well

One player to watch this season. D.LLOYD for Bradford Salem back/second row.

Still very young, reminds me of a strong number 8 who played
For Old Crocs a few seasons back.

It is interesting there is no mention of the front row. Show ponies to the fore as always!
