Squeaky bum win from CAS today, ref did no favours. 22-20. Be a very difficult team to beat this year if form continues. Skipton still a good side even if the 10 has a disproportionate head on his shoulders

The Barnsley v Rotherham Phoenix game was a fairly even contest. Phoenix dominated the scrums and possession in the first half, but when Barnsley brought on replacements in the second half they dominated the set pieces.
Barnsley's full back was the major difference between the teams Phoenix really struggled to handle his pace.
Barnsley have registered 48 players and hope to field a second team in the not too distant future. Early days,but things could be looking up at Shaw Lane.
