Locked Out

Happy New Year everyone, some tasty fixtures this weekend.

Bramley Phoenix v Bradford & Bingley
Northallerton v Huddersfield Laund Hill
Ossett v Halifax Vandals
Ripon v Bridlington
Roundhegians v Old Otliensians
Halifax v Baildon
.

Locked Out

Big Apples v Bed & Breakfast: Not even the "Warrels Massive" can make a difference here and Bees looking to claw their way back up the table. Bees +7

Old Farmers v Laundromats: Whilst there will be plenty of grunt on display up at Brompton, not sure if there will be enough pace of class for North to get more than a losing bonus point here. HLH -7

Wakey Windups v Hooligans: Think Ossett are pretty much down and out and even the home crowd of three men and a dog won't spur them on. Vandals +7

Rugrats v Fishermen's Friends: Down from the festive sugar rush and banned from the DoR's new year's eve party, the kids will be up to defend their reputation at "Fortress Mallorie Park". Ripon -7

Snoozers v Oozers: Match of the day between two well matched sides who like to chick it about a bit. Hegians just -7

Filofax v Bai£don: Just think the visitors have a few more dimensions to their play and will have enough out wide to escape. Baildon +7
.

Crowding the bar

Bp v B&B- Will undoubtedly be a physical game but Bradford will have far too much for the Leeds boys. B&B +7

Northallerton v HLH- Whilst north seem to be competing this year a lot better than they have in previous seasons Hudds will see this as a prime opportunity to pile on the pressure at the top end. HLH +7

Ossett v Vandals- Could ossett use this chance to start a turnaround? The cold conditions will probably favour vandals so going for a close vandals win. HV -7

Ripon v Brid- the seaside boys to continue their marauding run back to y1 here. Brid +7

Hegians v OOs- As stated by others game of the week here, should be some quick pace attacking rugby at the memorial ground with hegians grabbing the win. Hegians +7

Halifax v baildon- If fax can keep it in the pack and not get drawn into a backs battle they should put up a good fight, having said that baildon will prove too good overall. Baildon -7

Locked Out

Weather wins for Ripon v Brid tomorrow. Permafrost won't clear in time, so match postponed - to some time in February I believe. Was really looking forward to a good test.

Can't comment on others, so any updates helpful. If four or more games played - predictions stand for scoreboard. If three or less played - another void week regrettably. :(

I expect a lot of call offs. I think we had the same situation this weekend 2 years ago where Keighley v Pythons ended up being one of the only fixtures played in all of Yorkshire thanks to the 4G pitch. It's same fixture tomorrow so if anyone is at a loose end have a drive over to Keighley for a 2pm kick off.

Locked Out

Thanks for the invitation Gaters.

Ripon v Brid - off

Hegians v OOs - off

BP v B&B - off

Fax v Baildon - off

This weeks bets - off

All the best to Northallerton and Ossett if they can get games on.
