We're back up and running with some cracking fixtures. Stand out definitely Keighley v Pocklington with Pock really needing that win to keep themselves in one of the 'best runner up' promotion spots.

Harrogate Pythons v Bridlington
Hullensians v Wath Upon Dearne
Keighley v Pocklington
Leodiensians v North Ribblesdale
Old Rishworthians v Beverley
Wensleydale v West Leeds

howzat

Harrogate Pythons v Bridlington - Pythons to get 5 points, the question is whether Brid will turn up.

Hullensians v Wath Upon Dearne - Hullensians to have a comfortable home win.

Keighley v Pocklington - Big game, I think Pock will want it more with a chance for promotion still on the line. Away win.

Leodiensians v North Ribblesdale - Away win, could be a cricket score.

Old Rishworthians v Beverley - After last weeks loss, Old Rish need to win here to keep in the fight to stay up, especially with North Rib and Pock in the following weeks.

Wensleydale v West Leeds - Another big game in terms of the bottom of the table, I reckon a close home win with the Dale pack being to much for West Leeds in the end.

Oldandslow

Harrogate P v Brid – Expecting a very close game, taking Brid to win because they need the win more.

Hulls v Wath – Home advantage to give Hulls a bonus point win.

Leos v North Ribb – North Ribb by plenty.

Old Rish V Beverley – League form says Beverley but I'm taking Old Rish to win a close game.

Wensleydale v West Leeds – Home advantage just making the difference Wensleydale a win and make them safe.

Keighley v Pock – MOTD could go either way but think Pock will want to secure second place. Pock win.

Harrogate Pythons v Bridlington - not really sure what to make of Brid as they've been able to cause teams problems at home but just don't seem to travel at all. Always back yourselves either way. Pythons +7

Hullensians v Wath Upon Dearne - Wath's pack will cause Hull problems but I think Ensians will have too much across the park and home advantage will play a factor. Hullensians +7

Keighley v Pocklington - you'd usually back Keighley at home against pretty much anyone but I just think this one will mean more to Pock as they chase a promotion place and that will win it for them. Pock -7

Leodiensians v North Ribblesdale - routine BP away win. Ribb +7

Old Rishworthians v Beverley - with Rish still fighting to avoid the bottom 3 and Beverley not having a lot to play for and also not travelling too well you'd expect Rish to edge this one. Rish -7

Wensleydale v West Leeds - both teams will be targeting this game to pull themselves clear of the bottom 3 places. West Leeds have the edge out wide but Dale's pack should see them through at home. Wensleydale -7

PocknRoll

Harrogate v Brid - Pythons were very good at their place and had a good few of us travelling fans worried for most of the game, so I'm gong for them by a good few.

Hull v Wath - both good teams and on their day can cause anybody in this league a headache, home advantage to see Hull over the line in a close game.

Keighley v Pock - Massive game for Pock if we're to have any hopes of promotion, both teams will be up for this game  and if both are at full strength, should be a nip and tuck affair. Looking forward to the trip over to West Yorkshire for what should be a belter of a game at a very good set up down Utley. Pock to take a narrow victory.

Leos V Ribb - BP win for Ribb and a step closer to being crowned deserved champions.

Rish v Beverley - Rish to edge this one.

Dale v W Leeds - Wensleydale are the only side I've not seen this year, and West Leeds were a lot better than the scoreline suggested at Percy Rd, that said I'll go with the home side to win.

Great to have the forum back, thanks to every one involved.

Beverleysbestever

Harrogate Pythons v Bridlington - Pythons to dismantle brid +7
Hullensians v Wath Upon Dearne - Ensians backs too good for Wath, Bev tore them to pieces Saturday and we were disappointed to only score 49 with half a team, Ensians +7
Keighley v Pocklington - Keighley at home is very tough, think pock have a large power advantage these days so going pock -7
Leodiensians v North Ribblesdale - Ribbs +7
Old Rishworthians v Beverley - Rish still inconsistent, Bev with a big chunk of players missing and not a huge amount to play for except top half, Bev to have some magic moments and nick it +7
Wensleydale v West Leeds - Dale +7 in a snoozefest of 1 dimensional rugby

Distinct lack of chat, maybe a few still not realised the forum is up and running?

Pythons v Brid went pretty much as expected. Brid put up a good fight but Pythons superior fitness saw us pull away comfortably in the 2nd half. Good results for us around the rest of the league pulling us away from the possible 10th place relegation spot.

Around the league I'd say very few surprises. I'd tipped Rish but Beverley seem like one of those teams who, when they're on, they're properly on! Keighley ill discipline letting them down again with another red card. Pock will be delighted though as they push hard for a best runner up promotion spot. With a favourable run in they look well set now.

Top 2 are set now. 3rd/4th could change places. The middle 4 of Beverley, Wath, Wensleydale and Pythons are all probably safe now even if 3 go down but a top half finish is still to play for. West Leeds and Old Rish in a scrap to avoid 3rd bottom but will have been cheering on Pock as, if they get promoted, no relegation for 3rd bottom. Leo's and Brid dead and buried but one of them could yet be spared if 11th place in the league above can top the 'best placed 11th placed team' standings.
