Having had to deal with this a number of times I know how frustrating it is.

If Old Brods want the wider rugby community to submit comments of support just say and also note what planning guidance to reference.

good luck to the Old Brods, if they can improve the quality of their facilities, by selling some land.  they will not be the first or last club to do it !  The North is littered with clubs which have been helped by supermarkets, NHS hospital relocation and road building projects etc.... The Brods have been a strong club for many years with an excellent junior set up.  lets wish them well.

Sport England beneficial or bureaucratic ?

Sport England should be called Anti-Sport England.


They are a disgrace of an organisation. Another unaccountable government funded quango. It needs scrapping tomorrow.

A quote from a Sport England letter to Scarborough in 2007 - "Silver Royd will not add to the sporting outcomes in Scarborough"

Since then they are dead to us. We don't ask for grant money from them - they can go F*** themselves
