Quote from: Differ Lid on Apr 14, 2026, 06:19 AMWho has been poaching already?
A local N2 club currently without a 2nd team but who said they want 2nd teams allowed in the leagues.
The club is at serious risk of ending up in the relegation play offs

Is it poaching or recruiting though?
Surely it's good thing that your players go up the league to play a higher level?

We all know that since covid there isn't near enough players to go around

Fair enough. Point taken, However it still simply cannot justify the disgusting way that the vote was carried out as "Secret" ballot. Therefore unable to be questioned by the members who make up the "Yorkshire Rugby Football Union". Not much unity that I can see!!!!

Broke & Busted v Big Apples: Think the Bees will have just enough to see this through and the "corner crew" will be worth a couple of extra points. B&B -7

Fishermen's Friends v Rugrats: Can the kids control their excitement at a day at the seaside and apply themselves to a seventh win on the trot? Technically yes and purely dependent on Ripon's selection and what can be made of home advantage. Go big or go home, Ripon +7

Hooligans v Wakey wind ups: No charity or comfort up on Mount Doom. Don't expect Ossett to give up without a fight but odds against anything other than a home five pointer. HV +7

Laundromats v Old Farmers: Another selection depending outcome. If HLH get back to full strength, can combat the one-directional North. A big if... HLH -7

Champions elect (or are they?) v Snoozers: Got to be match of the day, with both sides looking to run amok. I fancy Hegians to enjoy the occasion more +7

Ca$h Cow$ v Filofax: Think Baildon can only get better than recent form suggests and Fax run out of luck now. Baildon +7

Otley need to pull something out of the bag. Throwing money at it seems the only way for them.

Their juniors have abandoned them for Otliensians who themselves have just gone up and doing well. They've picked up the departing Ilkley skipper Joe Loews and look strong for next season.

Evidence does prove you wrong.

There is also a clue in the official title.

I've heard that a Hull club are going to be targeting Pock, Drif and Goole players for their 2nd team entry.

As you say, so it begins.
