Sandal to good for the Young Woldsmen who appeared to not get off the bus for the 1st 40 minutes.
Sandal started with intent, keeping the ball incredibly well, going through multiple phases and scoring 3 quick scores.
The 2nd 40 was much better for Driffield but the damage was already done in the 1st half. What turned out to be a vital win for Sandal with Middlesbrough picking up the win against Harrogate.

Apologies login issues, now resolved.
Driffield 4th Team being unable to raise a team for a friendly against Beverley on what was a free weekend for them is hardly news with regards to 2s entering the league.
The second team travelled to Sandal on Saturday. Following Saturdays game that 89 players used across the 1st & 2nd Team squads this season. Disappointing that's down from the 92 in the previous season.

Baildon v Halifax Thinking Fax have fielded the same team two weeks running, so if they make it 3 then Fax+7
Good luck to all, maybe OO will make it three promotions in three years this weekend? Maybe....

Last post by Crowding the bar - Apr 13, 2026, 12:17 PMB&B v BP- a few weeks back I'd have said a Bradford decimation of Bramley but after some of the bees recent results I'm really not sure, with it being at home think the bees will win but will be close. B&B +7
Brid v Ripon- Ripon have done it once this season and with last weeks result still fresh for them could see them edging this on the east coast. Ripon -7
HV v ossett- both teams just playing for pride but can't see ossett making it a worthwhile trip to fax. HV +7
HLH v Northallerton- HLH will want to put last weeks drubbing behind them with a merciless victory at the expense of Northallerton. HLH +7
OOs v hegians- either the game that virtually officially seals the title for the hosts or keeps hegians in the promotion race to the final day, keep it interesting for the final day of the season hegians to come out firing and get the bp win. Hegians +7
Baildon v fax- if the fax can pull off a miracle and Northallerton fail at Huddersfield it goes down to the final day, same spirit as hegians otley keep it interesting with a fax 5 pointer, fax +7

Last post by Rugbymadlad24 - Apr 12, 2026, 10:42 PMHLH didn't get out of first gear, a very depleted squad due to an ever growing injury list. Several players playing injured as well and out of position.
Ripon capitalised with 3 penalties early on going 9-0 up then playing good rugby. They were more physical and wanted it more something which is normally HLH game plan.
Makes it interesting with 2 points separating 4th-6th and if the top 4 gets you promotion with the reshaping of the league then it's all to play for
